The BMA150 is a LGA packaged triaxial, programmable low-g acceleration sensor with digital output. Offering many smart functional features and operation across a wide temperature range, the BMA150 is aimed for consumer and industrial market applications. Providing measurement of acceleration across 3 perpendicular axes, the dedicated motion sensing circuitry in the BMA150 enables power efficient interrupt driven software. The differential capacitance principle implemented in Bosch Sensortec’s accelerometers provides a robust and lowest power sensing solution to the market. The applications of the BMA150 include Advanced power management for mobile devices, HDD protection, Drop detection for warranty logging, Menu scrolling, tip-tap function, Step-counting, Display profile switching (portrait/landscape), Detection and Gaming.
